Richard Shellam and Alex Storey travelled to Sheffield on the weekend of the 11/12 of March to play an U15 tournament at Abbeydale squash club.
Richard was seeded 3/4 and started against Sam Burton with a 3-0 win and followed that up with a close 3-2 against Matt Harris to reach the quarter-final. Alex in the opposite half also reached the quarter-final after 3-0 wins over Liam Hunter and Matthew Tomlinson.
The quarter-final for Alex was against the number 2 seed Ben Daniel and despite a good performance he lost 3-0. Richard however not only reached the semi with a win over Llion McGrath but went a step further to the final after beating om Dwyer 3-0.
In the final he came across Cumbrian Liam Barrett, they have in the past been a very close match and this was no diferent with Richard edging this one 3-2 and taking the title.
