The largest junior open to be played in the area in recent history was a huge success, with over 170 entries over 8 events and played over 3 of the counties clubs, Tynemouth, Northern and The Northumberland Club.
The event had entries from farand wide attracted by the events elevated England squash ‘Silver ‘ status. It provided the opportunity for Northumbria’s Juniors to compete against some of Englands best players and they competed very credibly.
The Finals were played at the Northumberland Club on the afternoon of Sunday the 13th.
