Summer Leagues 2014
The existing league rules will apply for the Summer Leagues and the tweaking of the rules as discussed at the AGM will be incorporated later.
The format for the teams is:
NEW – There is one proposal from the AGM that is being trialled in these leagues and that is when the score is 14-14 then the result of the game will be decided by two clear points. The sudden death (first to 15) will not apply for these leagues.
NEW – Each team will be treated as a separate team so that there will be no playing up allowed. It will be best if clubs that have more than one team in the leagues decide on their order before submitting nominations. Nominations are expected by email before the first game is played. You can use the form below if you wish.
NEW – As each team is now separated why not name your team to give that extra exclusivity to your team i.e. Tynemouth Coasters, Eldon Chargers, Northern Lights etc; You can supply your team name with your nominations. Naming is optional.
The top two sides from each division will be involved in play-offs similar to the Northumbria Squash Premier League (i.e. the Northumberland Cup):
Division A winner vs Division B runner-up
Division B winner vs Division A runner-up
