The Return of the Northern Junior Cup
Liam Gutcher, along with other coaches from the North of England, resurrected the Northern Junior Cup last weekend at Carlisle Squash Club. This event was hosted for the first time in around 4 years and its return was greatly received!
The Northern Junior Cup is participation driven junior competition to give less experienced juniors from the North of England a chance at playing team squash in a friendly and supportive environment.
The event had mixed categories for U11, U13 and U15 age groups and there were teams from Northumbria, Durham & Cleveland, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria.
The Northumbria teams finished as follows:
U11 Team – 1st place finish

Congratulations to the Northumbria teams on their performance, as well as all the other counties who participated and those involved in organising this fantastic junior event!
