Well done to all our teams that played in Stage 1 of the Junior Intercounty Championship last weekend (12th-13th Nov)!
We had teams in 4 age categories competing in the North region, all aiming to reach the finals stage next March!
Boys U11:
Squad: Magnus McKay, Will Brocklehurst, Raphie Lavender & Kiran Sarkar
Result – 2nd Place
Boys U13:
Squad: Thomas Oliver, William Ingram, Joseph Brocklehurst, Mateo Radley & James Southern
Result – 2nd Place
Boys U15:
Squad: Duncan Rutherford, Dan Toole, Sam Tufton, Aidan Mahoney, Leo Blackett & Euan Wayman
Result – 1st Place
Boys U17:
Squad: Tom Jepson, Tom Watts, Sam Ponente, Joe Elliott, Ben Tudor & Matthew Ansell
Result – 4th Place
The U11s, U13s and U15s are through to the finals stage in March next year.
Due to dwindling entries for the girls teams, England Squash have decided to consolidate the entire girl’s competition on the finals weekend.
