North of England Event (30th Sept – 2nd Oct)
Adrian Alderton from Hexham Squash entered the MO65 category held at Grove Park Squash Club in Stockport, losing 3-0 in the quarter-final to the eventual winner.
Midlands Event (4th – 6th Nov)
Consett’s Tony Penson was involved in the MO70’s event held in Wolverhampton this November. Tony narrowly lost out 3-2 in the quarter-final, losing 11-6 in the 5th after coming back from 2-0 down to the no.1 seed and eventual event winner.
South of England Event (9th – 11th Dec)
Bryan Beeson of The Northumberland Club dominated the MO60’s category at St. Albans last weekend, dropping just 1 game on his way to winning the title. Congratulations Bryan!
Also, shout out to Jamie Douglas, who, despite moving away from the area continues to represent Northumbria at these masters tournaments. Jamie won the MO35s in the South of England event and finished 2nd in the Midlands MO35s!
