Team North took on Team South in England Squash’s Battle of the Border hosted by Daventry Squash Club! The event saw 32 of the top under-11 and under-13 players,16 from the north and 16 from the south, face off against each other!
William Brocklehurst (Northern) and James Southern (Tynemouth) both represented Team North who were led by Head Coach Liam Gutcher. The boys did us proud winning all of their games to help the northern squad secure the title 160 points to 90.

“This was the first time I’ve been a part of the Battle of the Border and it didn’t disappoint. Huge congratulations to our northern squad who performed above expectations on the day, thoroughly deserving of the win! Thanks to team south for so many battles that went right to the wire, bring on next year”.
