    FIRST HALF SEASON 2011/12

    The first fixtures this season were at Fairways lodge squash club in Lancashire. With opponents LANCASHIRE and YORKSHIRE.

    Team – LAURA NEILL, JOSIE BARKER, FAYE GROOM and MARTHA SPALDING.

    First match was a close fought 3-0 loss to Yorkshire but both Laura Neill and Josie Barker took their opponents to 5 games.

    Second match were hosts Lancashire who dissappointingly only had 2 players and the girls won against both for a 3-0 win and progress to the next stage.

    TROPHY FINALS SEASON 2010/2011

    The Trophy finals were at  the Edgbaston Priory club in Birmingham.

    Team – LAURA NEILL, JOSIE BARKER and ELLE WATLING.

    First match of the round robin of 4 teams was against Sussex. Despite Laura Neill losing to a very strong number 1 Jasmine Hutton both Josie and Ellie came through with wins to start with a 2-1 win.

    Second match proved to be the most comfortable against Cheshire with a 3-0 victory setting up a Trophy decider against Dorset who also won their first 2 matches.

    Laura and Ellie guided the team to a 2-1 win with Josie only losing out 13-11 in the 5th and the team won the Trophy for Northumbria.

    SECOND HALF SEASON 2010/2011

    Girls U13 team are scheduled to play on 24th October and 30th January.

    On the 30th January the team travelled to Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

    Team- LAURA NEILL, JOSIE BARKER, ELLE WATLING and GEORGIA WEBSTER.

    Northumbria beat all 3 opponents DERBYSHIRE, CHESHIRE and NORTHAMPTONSHIRE. All matches were 3-0 to convincingly seal a place in the Trophy final in March.

    FIRST HALF SEAOSN 2010/2011

    On the 10th the team will travel to YORKSHIRE to play the host along with CUMBRIA and DERBYSHIRE.
