Warwick Gold 2024

Our juniors had an excellent showing at the Warwick Junior Open last weekend (8th -10th March). The gold-level event saw some of the top players in the UK descend on the area to claim top spot in their age category.


Huey Lamb was seeded 13/16 but managed an impressive finish of 10th place after winning 3 of his 5 matches.


In the BU13 James Southern put in one of his best performances to date, beating the England no.3 and no.4 on his way to a 3rd place finish. 🥉


Emma Little, seeded 17/19, won 3 of her 5 matches to finish in 13th place in the girls U13s.


Duncan Rutherford also continued his excellent form, finishing 3rd in the under 15’s while Aidan Mahoney overcame his seeding to place 10th. 🥉


In the U15 girls category, Rebecca Little won 2 of 4 matches to place 10th, beating her seeding of 13/16.


Sam Tufton narrowly lost out in the qualifying round of the U17’s but came top in the lower bracket to finish 33rd overall.


Shae Paterson lost her 1st round to the top seed and event winner, but won her remaining 2 games to finish 5th.
