A handful of our juniors were eligible to participate in the 2025 edition of the English Junior Championships, held in Nottingham.

William Brocklehurst (BU13), Duncan Rutherford (BU17) & Sam Tufton (BU17) were all seeded in the top 12 of their respective events, while Huey Lamb (BU13) and James Southern (BU15) had to contend with the qualifiers.

Huey progressed to the main draw after winning both his qualifying matches 3-0 but unfortunately, James lost his opening match 3-1 and failed to reach the BU15 top 16.

In the BU13 William Brocklehurst came out on the wrong side of two 3-2 losses before finally placing 14th while Huey finished in 16th.

Duncan and Sam lost their round 1 matches in the BU17 event, then faced each other in a match that saw Duncan come out on top 3-0. Sam ended the weekend in 16th place, while Duncan went on to win his next match and then narrowly lost the 9th-10th placement match 3-2.
