Reigning European MO65 champion Bryan Beeson took on a strong field at the British Masters Nationals at Colets in Surrey.
Beeson, the MO65 top seed, sailed through his opening rounds without dropping a game. In the semi-final, Bryan came up against the 2025 British Open champion, James Ockwell, who proved a sterner challenge, but Bryan powered into the final with a 3-1 win.

Beeson faced the 2nd seed and serial champion at previous age groups, Mark Woodliffe, in the final, who beat the reigning champion Allen Barwise in his semi-final. In a match of fine margins, Bryan came up just short and lost out 3-0 (11-8 / 11-8 / 11-9) and took the runners-up spot for 2026.
