The 2026 edition of the Northumbria Open’s PSA event is a truly international affair, with pros from 11 different countries set to battle it out for the $3K PSA Challenger title at The Northumberland Club this Easter week!
Canadian Karim Aguib comes in as the 1 seed, but the remaining top 4 players, Ahmed Rashed (EGY), Aaron Allpress (IRL) and John Meehan (SCO), are sure to be hot on his heels! There are plenty of challengers throughout the draw too, including Elliot Morris Devred, who recently won his 3rd PSA title in Turkey and 2025 Spanish Nationals semi-finalist Hugo Jaén.
Locals Michael Mattimore and Liam Gutcher are also in the mix as our home hopefuls, after they were awarded wildcards for reaching the county closed finals in January!
The full event schedule is as follows:
Wed 1st, Round 1 – 6:30pm -10pm
Thu 2nd, Round 2 – 6pm – 10pm
Fri 3rd , Quarter Finals – 4.30pm – 8.30pm
Sat 4th, Semi Finals – 3pm – 5pm
Sun 5th, Final – 3pm
